Government express concerns after plastic pellets spill in Durban

3/2/2018

His Mount Vema Majesty’s Government has expressed concern after the plastic pellets spill in South Africa, one of the Kingdom of Mount Vema closest neighbours.

The Mount Vema Department for Fisheries and Territorial Management said in a statement issued today that the Kingdom of Mount Vema is following the situation and said that this ecological disaster is causing a threat to the South Atlantic marine life.

South Africa is struggling to clean up billions of tiny plastic pieces, known as nurdles, which have coated 2,000km of coastline, after a container fell from a ship in the port of Durban.

According to the latest data provided by the Mount Vema Coast Guard, remotely following the currents, the nurdles packed into two containers which fell off the MSC Susanna have now moved as far as the Vema Seamount Territorial waters.
