The President of South Africa Jacob Zuma has resigned

​The 75 years old former South African president Jacob Zuma, publicly announced his forced resignation, in a televised farewell speech today.

Mr Zuma's has been the leader of the ANC party since 2009, the same one that informed him that he should resign or would be submitted to a vote of no confidence before the parliament this week.

Cyril Ramaphosa, the new leader of the ANC party, has exercised great pressure on Mr Zuma's during his vice-presidency to give him his position, because of numerous accusations that weigh on Zuma's for corruption.

In his extensive speech, Mr Zuma's confessed that he does not agree with the final treatment received from his ANC party. He said: - “I don't fear a no confidence vote or impeachment”. And he reaffirmed that he loves his beautiful country, and that he has served trying to do things as best as he could.
 
At the A.N.C. elective conference in December, Mr. Ramaphosa's won the victory with a slim margin over Mr Zuma's at the ANC election conference last December, indicating the deep division and internal difficulties facing the largest political party of South Africa, one of the Kingdom of Mount Vema’s closest neighbours.
