October 14, 2020 - The Vema Seamount Authority wishes to appoint a person to act as the official Diplomatic Representative of the Vema Seamount Territory to the Kingdom of the Netherlands. The successful candidate will be paid a Salary of: $90,000 dollars per year.
Job Description The successful candidate will act as the official Diplomatic Representative of the Vema Seamount Territory to the Kingdom of the Netherlands and, will work as a delegate for Mount Vema and representative in local activities, and work to keep the best interests of the Vema Seamount Territory in mind. You will be expected to build relationships with government officials. The most important part of the role is to build ties and relationships in the Netherlands that can pave the way for partnerships of benefits for both the Kingdom of the Netherlands and the Vema Seamount Territory. Being a Citizen of the Kingdom of the Netherlands, or resident, speaking the language or having family roots in the Netherlands, may help to increase your chances of getting hired for this position. This is a very high-level position and requires previous related work experience or well-established connections. Salary and Benefits The salary is $90,000 US dollars per year. Paid monthly in arrears. The benefits include paid medical coverage, paid vacation, sick days, holidays, and a pension plan. Benefits are only applicable after you complete three months on the job. Work Conditions You may be provided with a private Diplomatic Office at a later stage however, initially you will be expected to work from home. Travel is almost always involved in this role, and therefore the work environment may vary quite dramatically day to day. Requirements If your application is accepted, you will be required to open a bank account with a Mount Vema bank, if you do not already have a Mount Vema bank account. Education and Training Education is not essential but must be able to use a computer, speak the language, write, and read. Training is not provided.
