ARCKrove ready to outsource construction of turbines (roto blades) to a third-party

January 26, 2021 – ARCKrove, the manufacturing company of Mount Vema told VSBCnews that it is ready to outsource the construction of turbines (roto blades) to a third-party to meet deadlines as part of the deal with vonMELYN to build floating wind farms that will supply electricity to the City of Mount Vema.    
 
ARCKrove first confirmed its intention in August last year, when it said that it intended to outsource the construction of turbines (roto blades) to a third-party after a deal was closed in May, about two weeks after vonMELYN confirmed that the wind in Mount Vema is constant so it will be possible to produce and supply enough electricity to the territory in addition to other sources.

VonMELYN was first considering to approach either Siemens or Vestas, the leading turbine suppliers for offshore wind power at the time, as well as Ørsted, Vattenfall or E.ON the leading offshore operators for a possible deal, but it later decided to offer the contract to ARCKrove to design and build it for Mount Vema, due to the lack of political will in many of the countries where the leading turbine suppliers for offshore wind power are headquartered.

ARCKrove is now ready to outsource parts of the operations and responsibilities to third-parties beyond Europe. The company is considering Asia and North America, where it hopes to find a more friendly reception to City of Mount Vema projects.
