Award of Contract - Procurement Notice No. 2019/000006

September 18, 2019 - Mount Vema - Handy Deed, the management contractor, for the City of Mount Vema Development - Phase 2 - hereby notifies all tenderers for Procurement Notice No. 2019/000006. Site 11 to be the home of the Port of Mount Vema – Bulk Section (West Section 2), and Site 12 to be the home of the City of Mount Vema Aquaculture Center (Section A), that tender submissions for this section of the project is now closed.

Until a formal contract is prepared and executed, the notification of award sent to the successful tenders constitutes a binding Contract. All tenderers for procurement No. 2019/000006 have been notified of this award.

​Any tender who have not received notification for this award should inform the Office for General Procurement, and may request for a debriefing to seek explanations on the grounds on which their Tenders were not selected.

This notification is in line with the Vema Seamount Authority General Procurement Notice. The management contractor hereinafter referred to as “the Employer” is authorized to use the City of Mount Vema Project - Bond Fund which will be used to honor this contract.
