June 29, 2018 – Mount Vema - Theresa May, the British Prime Minister was invited to visit the Vema Seamount territory, to see and presence the works to be undertaken in the South Atlantic, within the Vema Seamount territorial waters.
Great Britain could have been by now the Vema Seamount Territory closest ally and partner, but in politics as well as in nation building things never go as planned. However, The Vema Seamount Authority is keen to push for what started first in 2012, with the former Chancellor of the Exchequer George Osborne when through his assistant Matt Pollard, he advised The Vema Seamount Authority Peter Goldishman to start with the foreign office to initiate talks.
Since then there were a few other opportunities to get back on track, including in 2013 when Peter Goldishman embarked on a campaign to promote the country abroad when on His twitter account the King said “I won so many prizes! But I have donated it back.” Including the bottle of House of Commons – Blended Scotch Whisky, signed by the then British Prime Minister David Cameron for the Disability Event, as a gesture of goodwill to help the organization raise more funding.
That same week Peter also attended the Labour Party Annual Summer Reception where he was also personally invited. Special guests for the night were Lord Andrew Adonis – then Adviser on Labour's Industrial Strategy and former Transport Secretary, Peter Kellner - President, YouGov, Toby Perkins MP - Shadow Minister for Small Businesses, and Seema Malhotra MP - Chair of the Parliamentary Labour Party Business in 2013.
The timing never seemed right, however with looming deadlines, Peter wants to bring back the British firms which have previously signed contracts with the Kingdom of Mount Vema, one formed by British Royal Marines, former members of the British Special Forces that were part of the first members of the Royal Mount Vema Coast Guard and others, which Mount Vema very much would like to resume services with, with immediate effect, and among other service providers that would be key to the City of Mount Vema project, which Peter would need the support of the Prime Minister.
