September 13, 2021 – The construction of the Mount Vema Central Park, part of the stage 3 of the City of Mount Vema Development will start earlier than scheduled. Sources familiar with the plans told VSBCnews.
This section of the developments which is separated from others due to the delicate work required, will see preparations for construction starting early due to the time-consuming process to find and import the fertile soil, plants and trees which will be placed within the park, including special features to create the paths, roads, and buildings.
The Mount Vema Central Park will be a floating urban park to be in the middle of the City of Mount Vema and will divide the north and south of the city. Trees will be planted, lawns, meadows, minor grassy areas will be created, and there will also be children's playground, coffee shops and restaurants.
The Park project will have especially designed foundation structures so the marine life in its allocated area is not affected in any way whatsoever, with the aim to maintain some level of natural light, and create a new environment to monitor, preserve and enable any form of marine life to flourish.
It will be the largest park in the city, where visitors will be able to learn more about the biologically diverse ecosystem of Vema Seamount, and enjoy recreational activities including, bicycling, sports, fishing, concerts and events.
The Park will contain four transverse roadways that will carry cross district traffic across the park. From south to north, they will be located at Southland Road to Pashant Road, South to North of Mount Vema Boulevard West, South to North of Mount Vema Boulevard East, and Eastland Road to Northland Road.
