As result of a general request for clarification by tenderers with regards to Site Visits, The Office for General Procurement hereby announces the following clarification: Tender Documents Clarification - Procurement Notices 2019 - Clouse 7. Site Visits.
Where applicable, the tenderer is advised to visit and examine the project site and obtain for itself on its own responsibility all information that may be necessary for preparing the Tender and entering into a contract for the provision of the Requirements.
The costs of visiting the site will be at the tenderer’s own expense, in line with General Procurement Policy, Procurement Notices 2019, and Clause 7 and 7.1 of Tender Clarification.
Where the tenderer and any of its personnel or agents have been granted permission by His Mount Vema Majesty's Government to enter the Vema Seamount Territorial Waters and for the purpose of such visit, the tenderer, its personnel, and agents will release and indemnify the Employer and its personnel and agents from and against all liability in respect thereof, and will be responsible for death or personal injury, loss of or damage to property, and any other loss, damage, costs, and expenses incurred as a result of the visit.
