Economic activity in Mount Vema will increase as Marine Surveyors are preparing to inspect more than 10 ships to be purchased next month to participate in the initial stages of development of the City of Mount Vema.
Eight marine surveyors so far with more being recruited to carry out duties of inspections prior to purchase of ships for the City of Mount Vema Project. Some are not only inspecting but are also assisting with procurement of suitable vessels.
They are conducting inspections, surveys and examinations of merchant vessels, and other work boats to assess, monitor and report on their condition. Ensuring that best practices are observed and to offer guidance and intervention where the interests the interest of the Kingdom of Mount Vema are at risk.
The operations are part of a much bigger plan to secure ships throughout the year to secure ships through partnerships, leases, purchases to convert, purchases to use now and orders to build new ships to support the City of Mount Vema during and after construction.
The action is also part of the new method approved by the Vema Seamount Authority on the 22nd of May this year to enable the government to accelerate the availability of capital, so companies can finalize deals to purchase ships before the end of the year.
The new approved method becomes effective in June, after it was signed by the Vema Seamount Authority in May this year, following a bid submitted by a consortium of Mount Vema companies and W-Contractors to secure enough capital to purchase a fleet of needed specialist ships.
