Independence Day 2019! Mount Vema marks 13 Years of Royal History

Next week will be the 13th birthday of the Kingdom of Mount Vema. Mount Vema celebrates 13 years since the Vema Seamount territory was declared independent, on the First of August of Two Thousand and Six. The day Peter J. Goldishman declared Vema Seamount sovereign.
 
Before the year 2006, Mount Vema was never a nation or part of a nation, an empire or part of an empire, nor a trusteeship. 2006 does not represent "independence" in the strict sense, but rather a significant nationhood event which is the founding date of the nation. The significant establishment of statehood based on an ancient island (known today as Vema Seamount) which has eroded by millions of years of wave action.
 
Next week Friday, the Government announced that all services provided by Mount Vema institutions including services provided online will be closed for business, except for security and emergency services.

This is the time of the year when the administration reports the condition of the Vema Seamount and the community, and when future Prime Ministers will outline the legislative proposals for the upcoming year including the approved debt ceiling, the overall agenda of His Mount Vema Majesty’s Government and priorities to the nation, as well as the country's international commitments to the world.
