MVScloud is exploring the benefits of using Microsoft’s 5G Azure cloud for its operations

February 03, 2021 – MVScloud, Mount Vema's broadband internet and telecommunications services provider announced plans to explore the benefits of Microsoft’s 5G Azure cloud services for telecom operators.
 
According to sources familiar with the plan MVScloud is looking for a reliable service provider for the next five years to give the company enough time to explore the possibilities of developing its own 5G network to serve the estimated 1 million customers in Mount Vema by 2030.  
 
The global search to find wireless communications 5G network equipment for Mount Vema started in September 2020 when His Mount Vema Majesty’s Government announced then, that it intends to place orders to provide wireless communication solutions to MVScloud, the Mount Vema's broadband internet and telecommunications services provider.
 
The 5G network equipment is needed for the City of Mount Vema and the government is looking for a firm that can deliver the next-generation 5G network as soon as possible. The government aim is to find a network provider that can enhance mobile experiences for customers within the Vema Seamount territory, before, during and after construction of the City of Mount Vema.
 
Last year a government source told VSBCnews that there was already a short list of companies that could be considered including Japan's NEC, Samsung, Nokia, or Ericsson, to provide the next-generation 5G wireless network for Mount Vema, not only for mobile phones but also to enable high-speed video transmissions.
 
With everything moving so fast, and with Microsoft getting into the 5G race with Azure cloud for telecom operators last year, people at the MVScloud think the Azure deal that enables telecom operators to build 5G networks faster, reduce costs and sell customised services to business clients may be the best option for now, once it gets the greenlight from the Mount Vema Ministry of Communications.
