February 26, 2020 – Mount Vema - The Universal Cross Organization announced that it will provide grants of up to 25,000 golles to people and organizations worldwide working on the Environment, Promotion of Peace and Universal Welfare.
The Universal Cross announcement comes after news that the 2019 nominations did not meet the criteria for a Universal Cross Award. So the organization have decided to use the unused funds to provide grants to those who would not meet the criteria.
But what is the Universal Cross?
The Universal Cross Award is one of the most prestigious prizes awarded annually by The Vema Seamount Territory to people and organizations worldwide for services to the Environment, Promotion of Peace, Universal Welfare and Life Achievement.
Depending on the category, the award can sometimes come with resources of up to 5 million golles to help the winner fund future projects.
The new Universal Cross Grants are non-repayable funds to help those who do not meet the criteria for a Universal Cross Award, made to fund specific environmental projects, project that promotes peace and universal welfare.
