If you are traveling to Mount Vema this year and you already made your travel reservation, you need to contact your employer. If you are an employer, you need to contact the contractor, sub-contractor or the agency that processed your agreement or contract.
Contractors, sub-contractors and agents are provided with a w-southern link, to enable their employees and employers to reserve a place on the next available ship to Mount Vema at a discount rate. Mount Vema introduces policy that will make the territory a plastic free state. Unless the plastic item can be reused again, again and again by the consumer or the manufacturer, it will have no place in Mount Vema society. The Government announced today.
People travelling to visit or work, should ask first if not sure, which items are allowed in Mount Vema. The list will be available at www.mount-vema.com, and will be updated from time to time.
If you are thinking about bringing any plastic to Mount Vema, make sure it is reusable, otherwise you should try to bring a paper option, to avoid a fine, plus your item been confiscated and held for you to take it back when you return to your home country.
Always consider reusable water bottle for example. Eggs in a paper carton instead of plastic packaging, toilet paper wrapped in paper rather than plastic, anything in a box instead of a plastic bag or plastic container.
Employees and job applicants having their travel arrangements paid for by the employer to work in Mount Vema , including holiday travel arrangements for 2018, until December 31st, 2019 should complete their job application by midnight on Friday - October 19, 2018.
Any application completed after Friday will not be included as part of the free travel program. If your job will require regular visits to Mount Vema, we advise to apply for your entry visa by or before Friday, and inform the employer or contractor that the completion of your job application is subject to a successful temporary work visa application, in order to qualify for free travel.
The financial assistance policy, introduced to help employees with travel expenses expires - October 19, 2018. Those who don’t have their entry visa ready when called for work, will pay for their own ticket and will make their own arrangements if they wish to travel to Mount Vema for work.

Group 1-C should be on standby. The government issued its second announcement as part of a series of travel announcements to be published throughout October this year to guide employers and their employees to prepare for departure.
This year, personnel will initially travel in five different groups. The first group (Group 1) which will be mainly Coast Guard personnel, site security guards and commercial divers will arrive to prepare and pave the way for Group 2.
Group 1, the security staff will provide a vital service to workers and seafarers when they need it most. They will play an integral role in coordinating emergency responses to incidents relating to coastguard missions, gathering and analysing information to inform operational plans and enable delivery. They will also provide essential maritime safety advice to people at work on building site and respond to reports concerning debris and illegal fishing activities.
They will assist in the preparedness and response to major emergencies through the maintenance and verification of appropriate records, databases and plans. Alert any related information regarding Maritime Security, assessing information and passing it to the most appropriate authority while updating databases.
They will also provide maritime safety information, safety advice and maritime information, such as tides and weather, navigational risks, safety advice and procedures. Monitor vessel movements through the Marine Traffic Management Systems, identifying anomalies, intervening and responding to them, providing information and advice to vessels and incident response and reporting.
Commercial diver who will also form part of Group 1, will be filming and photograph underwater sites, to prepare the ground to guide crane operators who we will arrive later with Group 2. The divers will inspection equipment and structures that are below the surface of water and make sure that any bad equipment or structure is safely removed, while preparing to perform activities related to underwater search and rescue, salvage, recovery and cleanup operations, making sure that any waste is removed to prevent pollution in the sea.
They will prepare the ground for Group 2, the Project Architects, Civil Engineers and Naval Engineers, Accommodation staff, chefs, housekeeping, cleaners, entertainers etc. who will arrive after, and who, will prepare the ground for Group 3.
