Slovenian all-electric plane first in the world to be certified to fly

July 02, 2020 – Ljubljana, Slovenia, Europe - A two-seater electric plane is the first in the world to have been given certification to fly commercially after receiving approval from the European Union Aviation Safety Agency, the agency says. The plane is intended for training pilots and is made by Slovenian company Pipistrel.
